HR Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Assistant to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The HR Assistant will support the HR department in various administrative tasks and assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for HR. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing new hire paperwork
• Maintain employee records and update HR databases
• Process payroll and benefits administration
• Assist with performance management and employee development programs
• Coordinate training and development initiatives
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters
• Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to HR team
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events
• Participate in HR projects and contribute to process improvements
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative role
• Knowledge of HR processes and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
