About the job HR Business Partner (12-Month Contract) - Cape Town

What You'll Be Doing You won't just be supporting HR — you'll be embedded in the business, partnering with leaders to shape people strategies that actually make an impact.

You'll

Partner with leadership to translate business goals into practical, people-focused solutions
Own the full employee lifecycle – from onboarding to offboarding (and everything in between)
Be the go-to advisor on performance, talent, succession, and engagement
Independently manage employee relations cases (misconduct, grievances, performance issues)
Use data and insights to spot trends, risks, and opportunities before they become problems
Lead meaningful conversations – performance reviews, talent discussions, and change initiatives
Support organisational change, restructuring, and transformation projects
Help build a high-performance, values-driven culture

Qualifications What You Bring to the Table

Bachelor's Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or related field (essential)
Honours Degree (nice to have)

Experience

3–5 years in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role
Solid experience handling employee relations independently
Exposure to performance & talent management processes
Experience in financial services or asset management? Big plus!

Bonus Points If You Have

SABPP registration
Change Management certification
Coaching certification
Enneagram or Insights accreditation
