Job description

As the primary HR partner for the business, you play a key role in aligning people strategy with business objectives. You work closely with leaders and employees to enhance organizational performance, foster engagement, and deliver a strong employee experience.

You act as a trusted advisor, supporting managers in leveraging HR tools, driving talent development, and navigating change in a dynamic and matrixed environment. In close collaboration with HR Operations and Centers of Expertise, you ensure the effective deployment of HR programs tailored to business needs.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement integrated HR strategies and people plans for the assigned business perimeter, ensuring alignment with business objectives, workforce requirements, and Schneider Electric's people strategy.
  • Build and sustain trusted partnerships with business leaders, managers, and employees, providing strategic HR guidance and serving as a key advisor on people-related matters.
  • Translate business priorities into effective people solutions that support organizational growth, innovation, operational excellence, and talent sustainability, particularly within commercial, Digital, and operational functions.
  • Lead the execution of key people priorities, including talent management, succession planning, leadership development, learning and capability building, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), employee engagement, well-being, and high-performance culture initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness by driving workforce planning, organizational design, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership capability development.
  • Coach and develop managers and leaders to enhance people leadership capabilities, equipping them with the tools, insights, and best practices required to effectively lead teams and drive business performance.
  • Lead and support transformation, restructuring, and change management initiatives, ensuring effective organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption of change.
  • Drive workforce planning and talent strategies by utilizing workforce analytics, business insights, and market trends to anticipate future talent needs and identify potential workforce risks.
  • Act as a strategic advisor throughout the annual HR cycle, ensuring successful deployment and adoption of core HR processes, including performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure effective management of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee development, mobility, engagement, retention, and offboarding, while delivering a positive employee experience.
  • Partner closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Shared Services teams to deliver consistent, scalable, and business-focused HR solutions.
  • Support employee relations matters by providing guidance on policy interpretation, performance management, conflict resolution, and compliance with local labor legislation and company policies.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional and transversal transformation projects, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and simplification across HR processes and practices.
  • Leverage people analytics and HR metrics to provide actionable insights, measure the impact of HR initiatives, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Foster collaboration across the HR function, contributing to HR excellence and strengthening the One HR Community through knowledge sharing, best practice adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational or matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Postgraduate Qualification in HR, Business, or related field advantageous.
  • Solid experience as an HRBP or similar strategic HR role supporting senior business leaders.
  • Strong capability in organizational change management, including restructuring, team design, and transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyze workforce data and translate insights into actionable people strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and challenge leaders constructively.
  • Experience partnering with CoEs (Talent Management, Total Rewards, Learning, DEI, etc.) to implement enterprise-wide HR programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across global and local teams.
  • High learning agility with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and strong execution discipline.
