Job description

We require the services of a Human Resources Coordinator who will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3yr Degree/Qualification in HR Management/Psychology.
  • A minimum of combined 5 years’ experience with the focus on recruitment, talent management and management and actioning of payroll,creating new and sustaining current relationships at all levels; onboarding, proven project management; interactive, sound verbal and written communication and effective office administration.
  • Proven team leadership capabilities.
  • Proven knowledge of South African Labour Laws (BCEA, EEA, LRA, COIDA, etc)
  • Proven experience using PaySpace system.
  • Proven advanced administrative ability.
  • Advanced computer literacy with experience MS Office Suite (inclusive of MS Project).
  • Unendorsed manual driver’s licence.

ADDED ADVANTAGE

  • Fluency in at least 2 official languages.
  • Understanding of Palliative care and its role in society.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Create and implement Human Resource Initiatives and strategies approved by the HOD.
  • Coordinate the recruitment of talent and onboarding process.
  • Coordinate and maintain the benefits and remuneration processes and systems.
  • Perform monthly reporting.
  • Maintain Human Resources effectiveness.
  • Coordinate Employment Equity processes, forums and the submission of EE reports.
  • Support present and future organisation demands (training and development).
  • Submission of WSP and ATR reports to the HWSETA.
  • Facilitate the COIDA claim submissions and processes.
  • Provide team leadership, mentoring and alignment with the values.
  • Act as trusted advisor to employer/employees and stakeholders.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders/service providers.
  • Coordinator relevant expense budgets.
  • Perform other duties in support of team goals.
