Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent;
• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Development;
• At least 2 years of training and facilitation experience within a mining environment;
• Certification as an assessor and moderator is highly desirable;
• Proven strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training programs;
• Sound knowledge of mining industry practices and safety regulations;
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Valid medical fitness certificate confirming physical capability for the role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
• Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain training materials and documentation in alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with management and departmental leaders to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal standards within all training activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training sessions, attendance, and participant progress.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees to facilitate continuous professional development.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance training content and delivery methods.
• Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes and recommend strategies for operational improvements.
• Contribute to organizational development initiatives by actively participating in projects aimed at improving processes and performance.
