Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the HR function, ensuring smooth implementation of HR processes, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with labour laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
- Assist with recruitment processes (posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, onboarding).
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR-related documentation.
- Manage employee onboarding and induction processes.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, and absenteeism records.
- Assist with payroll administration (timesheets, input data, coordination with finance).
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and internal policies.
- Support disciplinary processes, hearings, and documentation.
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies, leave, and benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.
- Assist in organizing training and development initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports (staff turnover, attendance, etc.).
- Ensure proper filing and document management (physical and digital).
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0–2 years’ experience in an HR administrative role.
- Basic knowledge of South African labour laws and HR practices.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
Pay: R72 000,00 per year
