Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resource function within a fast-paced retail environment.
The role oversees 4 x HR professionals and 1 x trainer, ensuring effective people management, compliance and staff training & development across our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to deliver excellence in employee relations, recruitment, and training.
- Partner with retail leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Drive compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
- Oversee performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support training and development programs to enhance staff capability and customer service standards.
- Provide strategic input on workforce planning and organisational development.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification in Human Resources or Behavioural Science.
- Valid Driver’s License (travel between retail sites required).
- 4–5 years’ HR experience, with proven success in managing a team.
- 2-3 years’ experience in training & development initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: R500,00 - R1 000,00 per month
