HR New Business Development Executive

The Role About the Opportunity

You will lead business development across South Africa, introducing an intelligent, cloud-based HR platform that brings together the entire employee lifecycle within a single, intuitive solution.

The platform combines automation, AI-driven workflows, analytics and employee self-service to help organisations reduce administration, improve employee experience and enable better business decisions.

Working with HR, Finance, Operations and Executive Leadership teams, you will identify opportunities where organisations can modernise their people operations through digital transformation.

This is a consultative sales role focused on understanding business challenges and demonstrating measurable business value.

• Develop and execute a market development strategy across South Africa.
• Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline.
• Identify and engage new prospects through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting and strategic partnerships.
• Develop trusted relationships with HR Directors, CFOs, CEOs, COOs and other senior decision-makers.
• Conduct discovery workshops to understand customer challenges and transformation objectives.
• Deliver compelling solution demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
• Position the platform’s AI capabilities, automation and business value in a clear, consultative manner.
• Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract signature.
• Work closely with implementation consultants and customer success teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, CRM data and market intelligence.
• Achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.

Rewarding Performance

This role offers an OTE of R1 million per annum, with uncapped commission for those who are driven to exceed targets.

Skills and Experience You should be able to demonstrate that you have:

• Built new business pipelines from scratch.
• Successfully sold enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Opened new accounts in competitive markets.
• Developed trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
• Managed consultative B2B sales processes.
• Consistently exceeded sales targets.
• Worked within performance-based remuneration and incentive structures.
