HR & Payroll Officer

Job Purpose

Provide analytical and operational HR support, including reporting, payroll administration, and employee engagement initiatives. The role focuses on delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve workforce performance.

Requirements

• Matric (required); HR diploma/degree advantageous
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR analytics/reporting (call centre environment preferred)
• Intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup formulas, data analysis) is mandatory
• Knowledge of labour legislation, IR processes and recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and report on HR metrics (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, payroll, performance)
• Prepare accurate monthly reports with insights and recommendations
• Analyse employee exits, performance and payroll data, identifying trends and risks
• Manage cash incentive payments and payroll inputs (overtime, incentives, commission) with supporting documentation
• Support IR processes
• Recruit suitable candidates for vacancies.
• Drive employee engagement and reward & recognition initiatives
• Manage HR communications and employee records
• Ensure compliance with policies and labour legislation

Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
