Job description
Why do we need you?
- Lead the regional implementation, localisation and adoption of the CHORUS / Workday HR transformation programme across the Sub-Saharan Africa Cluster.
- Translate global programme requirements, milestones and dependencies into clear regional plans, actions and accountabilities.
- Coordinate country-level localisation of HR processes, ensuring local requirements are understood, documented and aligned with the global design.
- Drive HR data readiness by coordinating data collection, cleansing, validation, mapping, submission and sign-off with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the definition and testing of integrations between Workday and payroll, identity, reporting and other downstream systems.
- Coordinate regional participation in system testing and User Acceptance Testing, ensuring defects, evidence and business sign-off are properly tracked.
- Lead change-impact, communication, training and adoption-readiness activities to support successful business transition.
- Prepare concise project updates, readiness assessments, risk logs and decision papers for regional governance and leadership forums.
Is this job for you?
You will need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management or a related field, together with a minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in HR technology, HR operations, project management or business transformation. Experience implementing or supporting a major HR information system is essential, with Workday experience strongly preferred. You should be comfortable managing complex, cross-functional projects across multiple countries, business units or stakeholder groups, and have practical exposure to HR data readiness, process mapping, system testing, integration coordination and change management. Strong knowledge of core HR processes, cloud-based HR platforms, project governance, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint will support your success in this role.

This role is central to the successful regional delivery of the CHORUS / Workday transformation programme. We need someone who can bring structure, governance and momentum to a complex implementation environment, while working closely with HR, IT, payroll, Finance, Legal, Data Privacy and country stakeholders. The successful candidate will help ensure that regional requirements are understood, data is ready, processes are aligned, users are prepared and the business is positioned for sustainable adoption.
