Reporting to: HSE Manager

Location: Maitland

Please note this role will be moving to Montague Park in May 2027.

Cape Herb & Spice is looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive HSE Administrator to join our team. Purpose:

The HSE Administrator will be responsible for supporting the administration and reporting of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities across all Cape Herb & Spice facilities, while maintaining accurate ESG and HSE management data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain HSE and ESG data, including waste, water, energy and emissions.
  • Maintain internal HSE databases and external customer/regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely HSE and ESG reports.
  • Maintain HSE files, records, inspections and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate PPE records, HSE meetings, minutes and the HSE compliance schedule.
  • Assist with legally required inspections, training and associated documentation.
  • Assist with the administration of COID claims.
  • Support the HSE team with general administration and compliance activities across multiple sites.

  • A strong commitment to HSE, food safety, compliance and CHS values.

Education and Required Knowledge:

  • Good MS Office and computer skills, with the ability to capture, retrieve and analyse data.
  • Experience or Knowledge of HSE, environmental legislation, GMP, HACCP and BRC requirements will be advantageous.
