Job description
To provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Capital team. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, reporting, disciplinary administration and all other Human Capital functions to ensure thee effective delivery of HR services across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Human Capital team.
- Assist with the administration of recruitment, onboarding, and employee exit processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records in both electronic and hard copy formats.
- Prepare and process HR documentation, including employment contracts, personnel changes, and other employee-related documentation.
- Compile reports relating to recruitment, staffing, training, disciplinary matters, grievances, performance management, and other HR activities.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, training sessions, surveys, and take accurate meeting minutes where required.
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Ensure the effective maintenance, confidentiality, and accuracy of personnel records.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable labour legislation, company policies, and employment practices.
- Support the coordination of employee orientation, induction, and training programmes.
- Maintain disciplinary records and provide administrative support throughout disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Keep up to date with relevant labour legislation, HR best practices, and industry trends.
- Provide administrative support to the Head Office, Human Capital team and management as required.
- Assist with compiling and drafting of relevant inhouse training material.
- Capturing and maintain accurate records of all training completed for Skills Development and reporting purposes.
- Coordinate the ordering, receipt and distribution of staff uniforms, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties reasonably requested from time to time.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- HR qualification or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources administration role.
- Proficient in Microsoft outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent coordination and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- A proactive, driven, and self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for Human Capital.
Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
