Refinery, a leading division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd, is on the hunt for a driven, detail-oriented and passionate Human Resource Administrator to join the team.The HR Administrator is responsible for providing a holistic HR administrative service to Stores, Operational Teams and Regional HR Managers. Ensuring an effective and efficient service is rendered to all stakeholders in support of HR Strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Administration: Process payroll data (including promotions, demotions, and transfers) accurately and on time using SAGE/VIP.
- Recruitment Coordination: Manage end-to-end recruitment logistics, screen CVs, create shortlists, and coordinate credit checks and applicant feedback.
- HR Management System Support: Administer record-keeping for the performance management system and update all electronic and paper employee files.
- Benefits & Query Management: Resolve day-to-day employee queries regarding company benefits and general payroll or HR matters.
- Managerial & Divisional Assistance: Provide ongoing administrative backup to the Regional HR Manager and support divisional project rollouts.
- Industrial Relations Documentation: Collate critical data and evidence for CCMA cases, investigations, and monthly IR reporting.
- Workforce Reporting: Compile and generate specialized HR reports (such as new starters, terminations, and transfers) for various business units.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain business-wide communication updates, forms, and manuals across all relevant departments.
- Exit Processing: Manage and process all necessary exit documentation for terminated employees efficiently.
- Training Logistics: Coordinate and facilitate delegate scheduling and attendance for various learning and development interventions.
Qualifications
- Grade 12.
- A national diploma in Human Resources or studying towards a similar qualification.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years experience in performing administrative role within the business.
- Preferable experience within an HR administrative role.
- Knowledge of google suite.
- Information monitoring.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent Planning and Organising skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- High Attention to detail.
