The position offers hybrid working and is based at our office in Cape Town, South Africa, forming part of our global team with a direct reporting line into the London-based Group Head of People and Culture.

Position Overview
As a Human Resource Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to our business units, providing expert HR advice and guidance to drive company objectives and employee engagement. The HRM will collaborate closely with leaders and employees to promote a positive work environment, support organizational growth, and lead people-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to align HR strategy with business goals. Provide insights and solutions to improve organizational performance.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, promoting a positive work culture and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Talent Management: Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts. Identify and develop talent through coaching, feedback, and performance management programs.
- Learning & Development: Facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and foster professional growth. Identify gaps and recommend development initiatives.
- Change Management: Lead HR initiatives related to change management, organizational restructuring, and workforce planning.
- Compliance: Ensure company HR policies comply with relevant laws and regulations. Keep up-to-date with changes and best practices in HR.
- HR Metrics & Analytics: Analyze workforce data to identify trends, support strategic planning, and improve HR practices.
- Payroll Management: input and management of the payroll for the South African division. The current system we are using is Simple Pay.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus).
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Payroll experience would be advantageous
