Job description
This internship is designed to provide practical workplace experience to candidates who require in-service training to complete their National Diploma in Human Resource Management. The successful candidate will support the Human Resources department with administrative and operational duties while gaining practical exposure to key HR functions, including recruitment, employee records, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with general HR administration, filing, scanning, and data capturing and maintaining employee records.

Support employee relations administration by assisting with disciplinary, grievance, and consultation processes, preparing related documentation, maintaining confidential records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labour legislation.

Support recruitment activities, including preparing job adverts, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.

Assist with onboarding processes by preparing documents, updating employee files, and coordinating induction activities.

Promote professional communication and confidentiality in line with company policies and applicable labour legislation.

Participate in HR projects and departmental initiatives as required.

Provide professional support to employees and managers while maintaining a helpful and service-oriented approach.

Support awareness of workplace rules, policies, and procedures among employees.

Must have obtained N6 Certificate in Human Resource Management from a recognized TVET college.

Requires 18-months workplace experience or in-service training to complete the National Diploma.

Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
