Requirements

• A relevant three-tertiary qualification
• Eight (8) years’ relevant managerial and functional experience
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Applications, SAP etc.
• A valid Code B driver’s licence.

Key Performance Areas

• Champion HR initiatives, interventions and strategies and

take accountability for ensuring effective implementation

of the HR function within the Spatial Planning and

Environment Directorate

• Ensure consistent implementation and application of corporate

human resources

• Provide guidance and expert professional advice to line

departments on matters relating to talent management,

employee relations, organizational development, human

resource-related policies, procedures and legislation,

occupational health and safety, training and development,

performance management, job evaluation and remuneration

• Staff Management
