Human Resources Officer

Role Description: The HR Officer will be responsible for providing end-to-end HR support with a strong focus on Industrial Relations, Recruitment and Training. The role will include handling employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, CCMA matters, recruitment and onboarding, training administration, employee records, HR compliance and general HR reporting. The HR Officer will also support management with day-to-day HR matters and ensure that HR processes, policies and labour legislation are applied consistently.

Qualifications

• HR qualification, such as a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, or currently studying towards a recognised HR qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ practical HR experience.
• Must have experience attending and handling CCMA matters.
• Practical experience in Industrial Relations, including consultations, disciplinary hearings, grievances and employee relations.
• Experience in recruitment and selection, including advertising, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Experience in training administration and coordination.
• Good working knowledge of South African labour legislation, particularly the LRA, BCEA, EEA and related HR procedures.
• Strong HR administration and record-keeping experience.
• Computer literate, particularly Microsoft Office / Excel / Outlook.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
• Must be able to travel between sites when required.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle confidential information and work independently.
• Retail or multi-site HR experience would be advantageous.

Pay: From R15 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Alberton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
