Job description
Minimum Requirements Matric certificate / equivalent
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Human Resources, or related field
HR professional registration (SABPP/HRPA) advantageous
Labour Law: Practical knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, EEA, MHSA, and POPIA
Driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites as needed
Willing to travel
Experience, Knowledge & Skills 15+ years in a senior HR Generalist role within the mining industry, supporting a diverse, multi-site environment
Sound knowledge & proven demonstration of high-level labour relations resolutions
Vendor and stakeholder management
Organizational design and workforce planning
Change management for relevant strategic HR projects
High level & proven track record of successful implementation and facilitation of strategic HR initiatives across multiple sites.
Trusted advisor with sound judgement and confidentiality
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
Resilient, solutions-focused, and comfortable with change
Collaborative, influential communicator across all levels
Customer-centric with a passion for employee experience
High level HR knowledge base
Roles & Responsibilities Provide business with human resources specialist services in support of the Company’s strategic goals.
Incorporate EXCO input and external influences in managing the strategic HR plans to maintain a high standard of workmanship in all areas of responsibility.
Plan, coordinate, and manage the company’s compliance with the regulatory framework governing labour in the mining industry (e.g., BBBEE, EE, LRA).
Liaise with management and other departments to ensure optimal and seamless HR efficiency.
Performance & Development: Support goal setting and annual reviews, calibration, and development plans; track mandatory training and compliance.
Rewards & Benefits: Administer increases, bonuses, and allowances in line with policy; support market benchmarking and job evaluation requests.
Policies & Processes: Assist with policy interpretation, updates, and communication; drive process improvements and HR automation where possible.
