Job description
Role Summary
As a central resource, you will bridge the gap between technical operations and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, maintaining and analyzing operational performance databases, and ensuring all deliverables comply with industry standards. Versatility and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Develop, execute, and monitor detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets across telecom and construction life cycles.
- Manage project scoping, identifying risks before they cause delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, site contractors, and external vendors.
- Oversee project budgets and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
Data Management & Analytics
- Design and manage integrated project databases tracking cost estimation, resource allocation, and site progress metrics.
- Analyze complex data to evaluate project efficiency, forecast outcomes, and generate actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of project documentation and field data.
Industry Expertise
- Leverage a foundational understanding of telecommunications infrastructure (e.g., fiber rollouts, site builds, data centers).
- Apply knowledge of general construction methodologies and practices to bridge physical builds with telecom installations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma qualification in Business Administration, Civil/Telecom Engineering, Construction Management, or Data Analytics OR
- Experience: 1 – 2 years of proven experience managing projects in the telecommunications or heavy construction sectors.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data management software, MS Project, and Excel; advantageous if familiar with BI reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Pay: From R296 819,81 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Johannesburg North, Gauteng
