IMPORTS ADMINISTRATOR – HEAD OFFICE
Holdsport Group | Cape Town CBD
Holdsport Group is a national sporting goods retail group, operating the Sportsmans Warehouse and Outdoor Warehouse chains across South Africa.
We are looking for an accurate and deadline-driven individual to join our Imports team as an Imports Administrator, based at our Head Office in Cape Town CBD. This position reports directly to the Imports Manager.

- Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of record keeping
- The ability to work under pressure and deadline driven
- Clear and professional communicator (written and verbal)
- Innovative and resourceful with tenacious problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Review and sign-off of Pro-Forma invoices, Data capturing of order details
- Order production status checks, requesting & review of shipping documents
- Set up Tariff Sheets, Clearing instructions, Final costing of products
- LC, TT, EFT payments, Cash requirement forecast and FEC Management.
- Responding to various emails from suppliers, freight forwarder, banks, merchandise department
- Coding of bank statements, Reconciliation of Import Accounts, Month end Imports Journal
- Freight forwarder management, making decisions on best carrier & cargo route
- Shipping cost benchmarking, Review and communication of shipping reports
- Projects assigned by management & any adhoc requests
Requirements
- Grade 12 with mathematics and/or accounting is essential
- Import Certificates or Diploma in Supply Chain Management (advantageous)
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel
