Independent Technology Sales Representative – Commission Based

Technutz (PTY) LTD is looking for a motivated, self-driven and results-oriented Independent Sales Representative to help grow our corporate and retail customer base.

This is an independent contractor opportunity, ideal for someone who is confident in sales, enjoys meeting customers and wants the opportunity to earn based directly on their sales performance.

Contract & Compensation

• 12-month initial independent contractor agreement
• Agreement may continue on a month-to-month basis thereafter
• Commission-only compensation
• No guaranteed salary or minimum monthly income
• Earnings are based on qualifying sales generated

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Generate leads and build a customer pipeline
• Approach businesses and individuals to introduce Technutz
• Promote Technutz technology products and IT solutions
• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Arrange customer meetings and site visits where required
• Prepare and follow up on quotations
• Follow up with prospective customers and close sales
• Identify opportunities for recurring business and IT services
• Represent Technutz professionally at all times

Requirements

Essential:

• Valid driver's licence
• Own reliable transport
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident and professional approach to sales
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Results-driven attitude
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and develop new business
• Good negotiation and customer relationship skills

Advantageous:

• Previous sales or business development experience
• IT or technology sales experience
• Experience selling to businesses

Important

This is not a salaried employment position. The successful candidate will operate as an independent sales representative under a written independent contractor agreement.

The representative will be responsible for their own operating expenses, including fuel, travel, telephone and other costs associated with their sales activities, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pay: R5 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
