About the Role

They are looking for a certified IT Auditor based in Cape Town. The role requires a strong combination of accounting and reporting expertise, along with a solid understanding of financial processes and IT systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in risk management, internal control, internal auditing or within Big Four environment is highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Solid knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
• Experience in driving control remediation programmes and designing effective best practice controls.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Preferably professional certifications such as a RA, RC, CIA, CRMA/ CISA.
• 7 years relevant professional experience.

Required Skills

• Strong combination of accounting and reporting expertise.
• Solid understanding of financial processes and IT systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within Big Four environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage,execute and support quartetly and annual testing and reporting process on the design and operating effectivenessof internal controls
• Provide training and ongoing support to control owners on internal control execution and GRC tooling
• Act as a sparring partner to local,regional and corporate management on internal control matters
• Support implementation of systems and applications impacting internal controls including global rollout of new ERP systems.
