ROLE PURPOSE

The Insights & Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for:

• • Translating data into actionable insights
    • Converting brand strategy into commercial execution
    • Driving sales growth through trade and channel activation

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Insights & Analytics Leadership

• • Lead consumer, shopper, and market insights
    • Translate research, market data & insights into clear commercial recommendations
    • Support innovation, pricing, and strategy decisions

Trade Marketing Strategy

• • Develop and execute channel-specific strategies
    • Own trade calendar (promotions, LTOs, activations)
    • Lead shopper marketing initiatives
    • Drive visibility and conversion at point-of-purchase

Commercial Integration

• • Translate brand strategy into executable trade plans
    • Align with Sales on:
    • Volume forecasts
    • Pricing strategies
    • Customer plans
    • Support innovation funnel commercialization

Customer & Channel Management

• • Build strong retailer, distributor, and QSR relationships
    • Support customer business planning
    • Drive category growth strategies

Performance & ROI Management

• • Track trade spend effectiveness
    • Analyse promotion ROI
    • Lead post-campaign reviews
    • Deliver executive dashboards

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• • Degree in Marketing / Business / Economics / Analytics
    • 8–10 years FMCG experience
    • Preferred Experience in:
      • • Trade marketing
          • Insights / analytics
          • QSR or retail channels
    • Exposure to:
      • • Pricing strategy
          • Category management
          • Sales collaboration

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

• • Sales growth and revenue contribution
    • Trade promotion ROI
    • Distribution / availability metrics
    • Conversion rates (in-store / channel)
    • Quality of insights delivered
    • Innovation commercialization success
