Introduction

Unicare is currently seeking to appoint an Instore Buyer that is passionate about customer service. The role will be based at Unicare 24 Hour Pharmacy in Bellville and will report to the Stock Admin Controller.

Job description

Duties include but is not limited to:

• Ensure Stock availability

• Communication with suppliers

• Reduction of regrets

• Achievement of monthly stock target

• Short dated stock – minimizing stock write offs

• Expediting orders

• Promotional price accuracy

Minimum requirements

Education

• Matric – Essential

• National Diploma in Retail Management / Purchasing (desirable)

Experience

• 2 to 3 years buying experience in a retail environment (essential)

• Experience in dealing with suppliers

• Experience in working in high pressure environments

• Surgical and orthopeadic experience (desirable)
