Key Responsibilities
- Assist with instrumentation and electrical breakdowns, upgrades, and modifications.
- Support fault finding and maintenance on PLCs, VSDs, and low-voltage systems.
- Assist with equipment installation during projects and shutdowns.
- Install sensors, instrument valves, pneumatic piping, cables, and wireways.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and support commissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records.
- Adhere to all safety, permit-to-work, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and reliability initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- N3 Electrical Engineering qualification, including Instrument Trade Theory
- Low Voltage qualification with Industrial Instrumentation
- 2 years' experience in Food/FMCG industrial instrumentation
- 1 year's experience with:
- Basic PLCs
- Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
- Soft Starters
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required
- Medically fit, including working at heights and in high-noise environments
Advantageous
- N4 Electrical Engineering
- Experience with level transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow meters, positioner valves, Profibus networks, relay logic, and fault finding.
- Code B Driver's Licence.
