Insurance Call Centre Sales Agent

To proactively contact prospective and existing customers to sell a range of insurance products while delivering excellent customer service. The Insurance Call Centre Sales Agent is responsible for identifying customer needs, providing suitable insurance solutions, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
• Promote and sell insurance products including life, funeral, vehicle, household, health, and short-term insurance (depending on campaign).
• Build rapport with customers and understand their insurance needs.
• Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and pricing clearly and accurately.
• Handle customer objections professionally and confidently.
• Close sales while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Capture accurate customer information on company systems.
• Ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Follow company scripts, compliance guidelines, and sales processes.
• Attend training sessions, coaching, and team meetings.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Minimum 6–12 months' outbound call centre sales experience.
• Insurance sales experience will be advantageous.
• RE5 qualification is advantageous (where applicable).
• FAIS-compliant experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Computer literacy (MS Office and CRM systems).
• Clear criminal record.
• Clear credit record.

Pay: From R5 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
