Reinstatement Business Development Manager
Location: Remote (South Africa Based)
Working Hours: UK-Aligned Business Hours
Salary: From 25,000 (DOE – Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
Thamesway Facilities is seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help establish and grow our presence within the insurance claims and reinstatement sector.
This role is focused on positioning Thamesway as a trusted partner by building long-term relationships across the insurance ecosystem and generating new reinstatement and repair opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with loss adjusters, insurers, claims handlers, brokers, surveyors, and property professionals
- Generate opportunities for insurance reinstatement and repair projects
- Promote Thamesway’s capabilities across:
- Fire damage
- Flood and escape of water
- Impact and storm damage
- Subsidence
- Specialist reinstatement works
- Attend networking events, conferences, exhibitions, and industry functions
- Arrange meetings and presentations with key decision-makers
- Maintain a structured and active sales pipeline using CRM systems
- Identify framework agreements, panel positions, and preferred contractor opportunities
- Support tender submissions and contractor accreditation processes
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or account management
- Background in one or more of the following:
- Insurance reinstatement
- Property repairs
- Construction
- Facilities management (FM)
- Surveying or loss adjusting
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware and target-driven
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly Desirable
- Existing network within the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of insurance claims processes
- Experience working with loss adjusters and claims handlers
- Knowledge of:
- Fire and flood claims
- Escape of water damage
