Sales Manager – Insurance

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing financial-services business.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in the insurance industry, with a strong track record of recruiting, leading and developing insurance sales teams. This opportunity is ideally suited to an established manager who is able to transition with their current team of advisers or representatives.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of insurance advisers or sales representatives.

* Drive monthly sales targets and overall team performance.

* Recruit, train and develop high-performing team members.

* Monitor productivity, policy quality and business persistency.

* Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

* Ensure compliance with all FAIS, regulatory and company requirements.

* Implement strategies to grow the team and expand its client base.

Minimum requirements:

* Proven management experience within the insurance industry.

* Experience leading a successful insurance sales team.

* An established team that can transition with the successful candidate.

* Strong leadership, recruitment and people-development skills.

* A consistent record of achieving sales targets.

* Sound knowledge of insurance products and the South African financial-services environment.

* Relevant qualifications and regulatory requirements, including RE5, where applicable.
