  • Location: Remote (South Africa)
  • Schedule: Full-time (35 hours/week), aligned with U.S. Pacific Time (PST) business hours

Our founder operates as a classic EOS Visionary, flooding the business with high-level strategy, speed, and market opportunities. We are seeking a world-class Integrator and COO to serve as the stabilizing, operational counterpart to the founder and the connective tissue across our portfolio of ventures.The founder moves quickly and operates with intensity. This role requires the opposite temperament on the surface, and the exact same elite standard underneath. You are the calm, structured, and steady force that keeps the ship pointed forward while running at the speed of an intense founder-led company.

Core Areas of Ownership

1. Vision Translation & Portfolio Integration

  • Strategic Counterpart: Partner with the founder to translate visionary, high-level ideas into clear, executable, and phased project plans.
  • Risk & Friction Management: Pressure-test initiatives operationally, identify implementation risks before launch, and keep cross-functional priorities aligned across all portfolio brands.
  • Autonomy in Execution: Take partial direction from the founder and return with complete, highly structured systems.

2. EOS Leadership & Operational Cadence

  • Rhythm Keeper: Own, protect, and optimize the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework across the portfolio.
  • Accountability Rhythms: Run highly productive weekly Level 10 (L10) meetings, lead quarterly alignment check-ins, and keep a pulse on execution cadences.
  • Execution Tracking: Directly track Rocks, critical KPIs, and individual/team commitments to ensure outcomes are achieved without administrative bloat.

3. Cross-Brand Operational Excellence

  • Day-to-Day Oversight: Actively manage and audit the daily operations across all business ventures.
  • Process Infrastructure: Identify operational bottlenecks and build scalable systems, automated workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation.
  • Team Performance: Hold remote, global team members accountable to deadlines, performance metrics, and high execution standards.

4. Executive Leverage & Boundary Keeping

  • Protect the Visionary: Ruthlessly protect the founder’s time, focus, and strategic bandwidth by acting as an operational filter.
  • Sounding Board: Act as a trusted operational partner—offering constructive pushback in private while maintaining absolute alignment and a united front publicly.

5. Financial & Administrative Guardrails

  • Financial Oversight: Manage high-level bookkeeping workflows, cash-flow reporting coordination, and operational finance tracking.
  • Accounting Liaison: Coordinate directly with internal and external accounting and bookkeeping teams. (Note: This is not a CFO role, but financial operational fluency is highly valued).

Candidate ProfileNon-Negotiables

  • Proven Leadership: Experience operating as a senior operational leader, Integrator, Chief of Staff, COO, Operations Lead, or founder’s right-hand in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • High-Level Autonomy: A track record of stepping into ambiguity, creating structure where none exists, and moving priorities forward without hands-on direction.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Emotionally steady, grounded, and comfortable acting as the stabilizing force alongside an intense, visionary leader.
  • Master of Execution: Exceptionally organized, with a natural talent for project management and keeping teams aligned across multiple brands.
  • Direct Communicator: Able to hold people accountable calmly, directly, and with high emotional intelligence.
  • Infrastructure Ready: Must possess a reliable home office setup with high-speed internet and robust backup power (inverter/solar) to ensure uninterrupted operations during loadshedding.

Strongly Preferred

  • Deep familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles and terminology.
  • Experience supporting founders, serial entrepreneurs, or owner-led multi-brand businesses.
  • Experience managing and optimizing remote, distributed teams.
  • Solid exposure to bookkeeping, operational finance, or controller-level workflows.

An Executive Assistant: You are not managing calendars or booking travel.

A Corporate Bureaucrat: We do not write reports for the sake of writing reports.

A Passive Coordinator: You do not just pass messages; you drive outcomes.

Success in the First 12 Months

  • True Founder Leverage: The founder is completely removed from day-to-day operational noise, allowing them to focus entirely on capital allocation, high-level relationships, and strategic growth.
  • Predictable Execution: EOS-style rhythms are running like clockwork; team members have absolute clarity on their individual Rocks and KPIs.
  • Systemization: Essential workflows are documented, optimized, and actively utilized by the team.
