INTERIOR DESIGN LECTURER

Potchefstroom Academy is looking for a creative and experienced interior designer who is passionate about inspiring students and shaping the next generation of design professionals.

The role:

• Present practical, industry-relevant modules within the Diploma in Interior Design and the Décor and Design Certificate.
• Guide, support and mentor students throughout their studies.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
• Collaborate with a creative and supportive academic team.

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in Interior Design.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of interior design theory and practice.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for teaching, creativity and student development.

The following would be advantageous:

• Previous teaching or training experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe software.
• The ability to communicate in Afrikaans.
