About the role

You will form part of the team that develops the eLABS (https://mezzanineware.com/digital-productivity-technology/healthcare-technology-solutions/laboratory-improvement-technology/) solution. You'll be part of an exciting journey that spans planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

As a full stack developer, you'll participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Our products are hosted on our Helium Platform and include 3rd party APIs integrations, web applications, and cross-platform mobile apps written in JavaScript. The desktop and browser experiences are created using Helium's user-friendly language. The team works with a tech stack that includes Java 1.8, PostgreSQL 11, Git, and JavaScript.

We are looking for an individual that is a great team player, problem-solver and quick learner. The ideal individual will be someone who is dependable, dedicated to their work, and cares about making a difference across Africa. What you need

• 8+ years' of relevant development experience
• Strong SQL experience, i.e. strong data processing skills (statistical analysis experience will be beneficial).

Advantageous

• Experience in Java
• Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with NLP and chatbot development.
• Experience with the WhatsApp Business API and other messaging platforms.
