PLEASE NOTE THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN RICHARDSBAY

Role and Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
Carry out breakdown maintenance to minimize production downtime
Assist with the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment
Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on PLC-controlled systems
Maintain accurate maintenance records and job cards
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
Assist senior maintenance staff and artisans with larger projects and planned shutdowns
Order and manage spare parts/consumables as needed for repairs
Participate in a standby/callout roster where required

Requirements:

Red Seal Millwright qualification (Sol-Tech College an advantage)
Several years' experience post-qualification
Own reliable transport
Must reside close to Richards Bay
Solid understanding of:
Electrical systems
Mechanical fitting
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Electronics
PLC systems

Pay: R40 000,00 - R60 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
