Job description

The incumbent of this role must effectively action the travel booking process at all levels, resulting in an efficient, effective and cost-conscious travel service delivery. The incumbent of this role must be compliant with all TTS, Seekers and TravelIT processes and procedures as updated on the Support Operating Procedure document from time to time.

  • Knowledge and work on the relevant GDS or OBT.
  • Issue full domestic, regional and international reservations including hotel, car, air, transfer, B&B etc.
  • Accurately complete all domestic, regional and international re-issues.
  • Ability to complete all refunds accurately.
  • Compliant and aligned to client policy.
  • Productivity to be above average while performing a VIP service offering.
  • Dashboards, Q’s and TRFs monitored and cleared daily.
  • Ensure that all calls are correctly logged at all times.
  • Fulfill a generalist role within your team.
  • 95% of calls required to be answered.
  • 95% adherence to Call SLA criteria.
  • 95% attained on QC checks done on reservations.
  • VCC email to be sent to the suppliers to ensure seamless check-in.
  • Note to be saved in corporate notes advising who accepted the VCC with date and time.
  • Will also be responsible for group bookings.
  • Ability to process LAF.
  • Ensure that all fees are correctly charged at time of ticketing including invoicing and referral bookings.
  • Ensure corporate fares, TTS deals are utilized.
  • No tickets to be on the un-invoiced ticket list.
  • Ability to benchmark accurately, as per client requirements.
  • Ability to document required client references accurately.
  • Ability to identify other opportunities for additional income and savings to client, when quoting.
  • All documentation to be correctly issued and emailed to the client and supplier.
  • Cost conscious mindset for both TTS and the client.
  • Fully conversant with preferred partners both of TTS and client.
  • Strategic approach when quoting preferred partners.
  • Understanding and adhering to the clients’ travel policies and procedures.
  • A client centric mentality, with consistent VIP service and personal accountability.
  • Personal accountability for client satisfaction and retention.
  • Immediate attention to any client complaint.
  • Ability to build relationships with TTS clients.
  • Adhere to TTS /client turnaround times.
  • A strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent telephone and email etiquette.
  • Solution driven.
  • Less than 0.2% error ratio to tickets.

Technology & Systems:

  • Ability to consult on Amadeus.
  • Ability to embrace technology solutions.
  • Effectively action the travel booking process at all levels, including reservations, fares, ticketing, re-issues and refunds for all routing complexities.
  • Good knowledge of Travel IT and Amadeus.
  • Full understanding of the TRF system.
  • Good knowledge of AGM.
  • Understanding of Chatbot and process required to assist clients.
  • Fully conversant with the paperless system.
  • Telephone and email etiquette.
  • Creating shell profiles for clients.
  • Complete all mandatory monthly and ADHOC training provided by TTS.

Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12.
  • Travel Diploma.
  • Must be proficient in amadeus.
  • Minimum 4 of experience in a junior role.

Knowledge:

  • Beginners and intermediate fares courses.
  • Ticket reissue course.
  • Ticketing course.
  • Business with charm and savvy (excl External Applicants).
  • Customer service course.
  • Sound geographical knowledge.
  • Sound visa knowledge.
