Intern - Junior Technician - Civil Engineering

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Civil Engineer Intern at BJ-FC Consulting Engineering located in Durban. The Civil Engineer Intern will be responsible for assisting in various civil engineering projects, including design and analysis tasks. The intern will work closely with senior engineers to gain practical experience and contribute to the team's success**.**

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Strong academic background in civil engineering principles and concepts

Knowledge of civil engineering design software, and drafting techniques

Ability to analyze data, perform calculations, and interpret engineering drawings

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
