Internal Sales

ACDC Express is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in-store, preparing quotations, processing orders, providing technical product advice, and driving sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for someone with strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for building lasting customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and technical advice.
• Generate quotations and follow up on outstanding quotes.
• Process customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
• Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, and in-store.
• Promote products, specials, and marketing campaigns.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform daily cash-ups and balance transactions. Assist with stock receiving, stock counts, and general store operations when required.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 1–3 years' experience in internal sales or a retail sales environment.
• Experience in the electrical, hardware, wholesale, or retail industry will be advantageous.
• Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Experience using POS and invoicing systems will be advantageous.
• Good numerical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Code B driver's licence and own transport will be advantageous.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
