Inventory Checker

The Inventory Checker is responsible for ensuring all inbound stock received into the warehouse is accurately checked, counted, verified, and recorded. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy by validating deliveries against purchase orders and ensuring all stock is correctly received into the warehouse system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and verify all incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Count and inspect deliveries for accuracy, damages, or shortages.
• Capture and update received stock in the warehouse system.
• Report and assist in resolving stock discrepancies.
• Ensure stock is correctly labelled and stored.
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and records.
• Support stock counts and inventory audits.
• Follow company inventory control and safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• 2–3 years of experience in receiving inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
• Experience checking supplier deliveries and purchase orders.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable, honest, and accountable.
