Inventory Controller Assistant

Inventory Controller Assistant JBE Concepts | Montague Gardens, Cape Town JBE Concepts is a hospitality procurement and project delivery business supplying tableware, kitchen equipment, uniforms and related products to hospitality clients across South Africa. We are looking for a reliable, organised Inventory Controller Assistant to support accurate stock records and the smooth movement of goods through our warehouse. Key responsibilities - Assist with receiving, checking and recording incoming stock. - Capture stock movements, transfers and adjustments accurately on the system. - Support regular cycle counts and full stock counts. - Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to the Inventory Controller. - Help maintain clear product labels, bin locations and warehouse records. - Assist with stock checks for sales orders and project requirements. - File and maintain delivery notes, invoices and other stock documentation. - Work closely with the warehouse and sales administration teams. What we’re looking for - Strong attention to detail and a careful approach to data entry. - Good numerical and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. - A dependable, practical and organised working style. - Clear communication and the ability to work well with a team. - Previous experience in stock control, inventory administration or a warehouse environment is an advantage. - Experience using an inventory or accounting system is an advantage.
