Inventory Controller - Clerk Level
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller .
About the Role
You'll handle the full inventory administration cycle — from processing Goods Received Notes and capturing stock issues in ERP, to coordinating pre-picking for production and supporting stocktakes. You'll also help maintain our Asset Register, monitor stock levels, and keep our stores running efficiently. From time to time, you'll be required to assist in the store or help with receiving/deliveries as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Process GRNs and verify supplier deliveries against Purchase Orders
- Capture stock issues against job cards/works orders
- Update Engineering Team on parts received, and delivery status.
- Monitor stock levels and escalate Purchase Requisitions
- Coordinate pre-picking with the Storeman and production team
- Coordinate the company driver's daily schedule and documentation
- Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes; process approved adjustments
- Maintain the Company Asset Register
- Generate weekly inventory reports for management
- Occasionally drive to collect or deliver.
- Assist in store or with receiving/deliveries when required
Requirements
- 1–2 years' relevant experience
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to work fast and accurately under a high volume of admin tasks
- Computer literate: Google Drive, MS Office, ERP software
- Own transport
- Need to work overtime on short notice - evenings or weekends.
