About the Role

We’re looking for an Inventory & Operations Specialist to join our growing Operations team and take ownership of the numbers behind our stock, inventory and supply chain.

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role sitting at the intersection of Operations and Finance. You’ll be responsible for keeping inventory data accurate, ensuring stock and costs are properly controlled, and turning operational data into clear insights that help the business plan, forecast and grow.

You’ll work closely with Production, Procurement, Demand Planning and Finance, making sure what’s happening on the ground is accurately reflected in our systems and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in inventory management, stock control or supply chain, ideally within FMCG, food, beverage or consumer goods.
• Hands-on experience with Unleashed or a similar inventory management system.
• Experience working with BOMs, assemblies and COGS.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data, reconciliations and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a natural eye for identifying discrepancies.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Procurement, Production, Demand Planning and/or Finance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain operational and financial information clearly.
• Highly organised and process-driven, with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities can change quickly.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or a related field.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own stock-on-hand (SOH) accuracy across all warehouses, including regular reconciliations and investigation of stock and cost variances.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Own the end-to-end receipting process for ingredients, packaging and finished goods.
• Check quantities and quality received against purchase orders and ensure inventory records are accurate.
• Maintain accurate assemblies, BOMs and product COGS in Unleashed, ensuring these reflect current recipes, packaging specifications and supplier pricing.
• Cross-check supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods received, identifying and resolving pricing or quantity discrepancies with Procurement.
• Partner with Production and Demand Planning to ensure inventory information is accurate and visible for forecasting and planning.
• Monitor inventory performance, working capital and stock accuracy, highlighting slow-moving, excess or at-risk stock.
• Provide cost analysis and insight to support operational and commercial decision-making.
• Maintain accurate reporting, controls and process documentation.
• Act as a key link between Operations and Finance, translating operational activity into accurate and trusted financial data.
