We are looking for a highly organised and detail-orientated Inventory Supervisor to lead our Stock Control function and ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy across our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervising the day-to-day Stock Control team and ensuring high performance.

· Maintaining accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

· Planning and managing daily cycle counts, stock counts and annual stock takes.

· Investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

· Monitoring inventory movements, damaged stock, write-offs and stock adjustments.

· Conducting inventory reconciliations and analysing stock variances.

· Producing accurate inventory reports and performance metrics.

· Ensuring compliance with warehouse procedures, company policies and health & safety standards.

· Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

· Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and operational departments to support business objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

· Grade 12 (Matric)

· Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehouse Management will be advantageous.

· Minimum 5 years' warehouse experience.

· Minimum 3 years' experience in Stock Control/Inventory.

· Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse environment.

· Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

· Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong planning, organisational and leadership skills.

· High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Experience in book distribution or FMCG warehousing will be advantageous.
