Job description

IT Developer & Automation Engineer

IT Developer & Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation solutions and system integrations. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team, manage development tasks through the Helpdesk system and assist with escalated technical support when required.

Key Responsibilities

Develop automation solutions and scripts using Python or C#/.NET.
Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations between ERP, POS and third-party systems.
Maintain and improve existing Power Platform, UiPath and RPA solutions.
Develop SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting.
Build automated data pipelines supporting Power BI and business reporting.
Integrate AI technologies and APIs into business processes.
Manage development tasks, bugs and change requests through the Helpdesk system.
Assist with L2/L3 technical escalations when required.
Follow development best practices, including Git/GitHub version control, testing, security and documentation.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Software Development or Automation Engineering.
Strong experience with:
Python or C#/.NET
Advanced SQL
REST/SOAP APIs
Git/GitHub
Experience working with ticketing/helpdesk systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Advantageous

Power Apps / Power Automate
UiPath / RPA
AI API integration
ERP/POS integration experience
