Job description
Disruptive IT (Pty) Ltd is looking for 3 experienced IT Resource Schedulers / IT Helpdesk Coordinators to join a dynamic enterprise IT environment based in Centurion.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced support environment, has excellent coordination skills, and enjoys ensuring the right technical resources are assigned to the right tasks while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate IT field engineers and technical resources.
* Log, update and manage incidents and service requests.
* Monitor support queues and ensure SLA compliance.
* Prioritise and allocate calls according to urgency and resource availability.
* Liaise with customers, technicians and internal stakeholders to provide regular updates.
* Track open incidents through to resolution.
* Escalate unresolved issues where necessary.
* Maintain accurate records within the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
* Produce operational reports and assist with service delivery administration.
* Support day-to-day IT Helpdesk operations.
Minimum Requirements
* Grade 12 (Matric).
* Relevant IT qualification or certification will be advantageous.
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk or Resource Scheduling environment.
* Experience working with ITSM/ticketing systems.
* Good understanding of incident, request and change management processes.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
* Strong customer service orientation.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Mandatory Requirements
* Valid South African driver’s licence.
* Own reliable vehicle.
* Clear criminal record (criminal verification will be conducted).
