IT Manager

We are looking for a reliable and service-minded IT Manager to help us maintain and continuously improve Metronomia's IT systems.

Your responsibilities

1. Purchasing, managing, administering and maintaining server systems, virtualization systems, client PCs and our entire network.
2. Providing IT support and acting as a helpdesk contact for our employees.
3. Planning, coordinating and delivering IT projects, from requirements gathering through to implementation and rollout.
4. Collaborating with Quality Assurance (QA) and other departments on computerized systems validation projects, and supporting the development and review of IT-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
5. Setting up and maintaining IT documentation, including compliance with change management procedures.
6. Analyzing our IT systems, security systems and software applications, and recommending appropriate changes and enhancements to your supervisor.
7. Reporting on your ongoing activities and supporting Metronomia's continuous improvement efforts.
8. Managing IT systems-related alerts and ensuring timely follow-up.
9. Supporting collaboration across departments to help improve processes and efficiency.
10. Taking on additional duties as required.

Your profile

1. A degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Working experience with Windows and Linux Server environments, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
3. Knowledge of information security principles.
4. Experience in IT project management, including planning and coordinating projects from requirements to rollout.
5. Good analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
6. Proficiency in English.
7. A flexible, hands-on attitude and enthusiasm for learning new things.
8. Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks, prioritize your workload, and work with attention to detail.
