Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Procurement Administrator to support our procurement and IT operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of IT hardware, software, and related services while ensuring accurate record-keeping and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage IT procurement requests and purchase orders.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare pricing.
- Liaise with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and invoicing.
- Track and maintain IT asset and procurement records.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist with contract administration and supplier documentation.
- Monitor stock levels of IT equipment and consumables.
- Support the IT and Finance teams with procurement-related reporting.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or procurement administration.
- Diploma or certificate in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Understanding of IT hardware, software licensing, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with ERP or procurement systems.
- Knowledge of supplier management and contract administration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
