Job Overview

We are seeking an aggressive, self-motivated, and target-driven Business Development Sales Consultant to drive B2B customer acquisition and market expansion. In this role, you will be the primary engine for hunting new business, identifying high-potential commercial clients, and delivering tailored end-to-end IT, networking, and physical security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• New Client Acquisition: Proactively prospect, cold-call, network, and conduct door-to-door sales visits to secure new business clients.
• Solution Selling: Conduct thorough client needs assessments to position and cross-sell our full technology portfolio.
• Pipeline & Deal Management: Build, qualify, and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly revenue and gross profit targets.
• Client Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver professional sales proposals, tender submissions, and solution demonstrations to prospective key stakeholders and C-suite executives.
• Site Inspections & Scoping: Work closely with technical, cabling, and project management teams to perform site surveys and scope client requirements accurately.
• Relationship Management: Onboard new accounts and maintain strong initial client relationships to ensure smooth handovers to account managers and technical teams.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technology developments within the IT and telecommunications sectors.

Services You Will Sell

• Managed IT Services (MSP): IT support, infrastructure management, cloud services, and proactive monitoring.
• Fibre Deployment & Connectivity: Business and residential fibre infrastructure, dedicated Internet, and failover connectivity.
• Network Cabling & Infrastructure: Structured cabling (Cat5e/6/6A), fiber optic installations, and server room setups.
• Security & Access Control: CCTV systems, biometric access control, perimeter security, and time & attendance tracking.
• IT Equipment Supply: Hardware, software licensing, server equipment, desktops, laptops, and peripheral supply.
• Project Management: End-to-end technology deployment and IT rollout management for modern offices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven B2B field sales experience, specifically within the IT, Managed Services (MSP), Telecommunications, or Connectivity sectors.
• Track Record: A history of meeting or exceeding aggressive new-business acquisition targets.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong fundamental knowledge of networking, fiber, hardware, and IT service contracts.
• Driving Requirement: Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (required for frequent client visits).
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Attributes: Self-starter mentality, high resilience, highly organized, and professionally presented.

Pay: R1,00 - R30 000,00 per month
