Job Title : IT Site Engineer

Location : Clinix - Naledi-Nkanyezi Private Hospital (Sebokeng)

Reports to : IT Infrastructure & Service Delivery Manager

JOB SUMMARY

To take responsibility for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the company's computer systems and designing and installing LANs, WANs, internet and intranet systems, and network segments.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric
• Certificate in MCSE
• Degree Information Science advantageous

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years` experience in a similar environment

Technical Skills

• Configuration

• Hardware deployment and management
• Server management
• Identity and access management

DELIVERABLES

• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments and internet and intranet systems
• Install and maintain network hardware and software
• Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users
• Ensure network connectivity throughout the company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
• Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration
• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
• Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
• Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems
• Maintain operational configuration, or other procedures
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
• Assume the role of liaison between IT and non-IT CHG employees to understand business requirements and recommend targeted IT solutions
• Ensure product and service knowledge and advice is technically accurate and provide stakeholders with relevant information to keep them duly informed
• Ensure timeous resolution of stakeholder queries and complaints and take ownership of issues
• Work within the developed performance management framework and ensure compliance to HR employee standards
• Comply with cost controls in order to achieve section budget
• Ensure all relevant system documentation on network security is maintained in current status
• Ensure complete, timeous and accurate reporting with appropriate levels of escalation to enable effective decision making
