Job description
1. Technical Support
- Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, core applications, and peripheral devices.
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to senior IT staff as necessary.
2. System Administration
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and deploying new hardware, software, and workstations.
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and connectivity of computer systems and networks.
- Manage user accounts, access groups, and system permissions across corporate platforms.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date system documentation, inventory lists, and user configuration logs.
- Keep a detailed, dated record of all user access privileges granted.
- Immediately report any unauthorized access attempts or variations in user permissions to management.
4. Preventative Maintenance & Security
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and scheduled data backups.
- Conduct regular reviews of patch management protocols to ensure continuous software integrity.
- Enforce and ensure company-wide compliance with corporate IT security policies and standards.
Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
