We are seeking an organized and analytical IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide first- and second-line technical support while serving as the primary internal point of contact for our Sage ERP environment. You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues and maintain system integrity, ensuring minimal downtime for our business operations.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support role.
• Hands-on foundational experience supporting or administering a Sage ERP application.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial module flows (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Windows Desktop and Server environments.
• Familiarity with creating or modifying Crystal Reports or similar BI tools.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical issues for non-technical staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

IT Support & Helpdesk

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via email, phone, or ticketing systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, networks, etc.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Provide basic training to staff on new hardware and software systems.

Sage ERP Administration & Support

• Act as the primary internal liaison for Sage ERP - Sage 50
• Troubleshoot system-level errors, connectivity issues, and user-access permissions within the Sage environment.
• Assist in resolving data synchronization issues, module conflicts, and print/report errors
• Escalate complex, functional-level Sage errors to our external Sage implementation partners and assist with testing patches or upgrades.
• Assist with critical financial period-end processing (month-end/year-end) system setups and backup verifications
