Job description

A great opportunity for an mid experienced Field Service Technician to broaden his/her horizons in the ever-changing IT field.

The position requires you to have technical proficiency in IT related hardware and software (incl notebooks & other hardware related equipment).

Traveling is fundamental to the position therefore a valid driver's license is essential.

Location: Office based in N Subs, Cape Town

Duties include but not limited to:

Good Diagnostics, fault-finding and problem solving.

Hardware & software support (on-site & workshop)

Network installations and IT Support (on-site)

Server, Desktop, Laptop and printer support and repair

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 Qualification (Must be able to speak and write Afrikaans and English)
IT Support: 2 to 4 years
Technical qualifications, certifications A+, N+, etc ( An advantage)

Valid driver's license (South African Only)

Competencies:

Good customer skills
Good written and verbal communications skills
Good technical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work under pressure.

Open minded to learning new skills and equipment.
