Job description

We are in the process of recruiting for an in our IT Department. The position will be reporting directly to the Executive Manager, IT.

Applicants with the necessary and required competencies are invited to apply.

Key Performance Areas:

Duties and responsibilities:

Build and repair PC’s and servers
Install and test hardware and software
Install and move servers, networking routers, PC’s, and printers
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that networks, servers, networking routers, printers, and PC’s are working optimal
Diagnose and solve problems with networks, servers, networking routers, printers, hardware and software
Provide on-site and remote IT support to employees

Skills and Competencies Required:

A confident, ambitious individual wanting to grow within IT
Quick decision making, creativity and problem solving ability is essential
He/ she should be able to handle multiple priorities
He/she should be goal oriented and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Aptitude for working with computers and possess strong PC skills (must have had experience in installing software on a PC)
3 months plus SDM Call Centre experience or background in IT

6 months – 1 year technical experience on the above, advantageous

Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
